This is a great looking chimney vent. I'd give it a 5-star rating if only the lighting were brighter. It has four small lights that are only about 4 watts each. They emit a blue-shaded light that's really not bright enough for cooking. If you're designing your kitchen and you still want to use this vent hood, design an alternate light source for your cooktop. It's a shame the lights aren't brighter, because otherwise this is a sleek vent hood at a great price. If you're handy, maybe you could upgrade the 4 lights to something brighter, like halogen lighting.
What a joke, rangehood stainless steel ducting wa scratched and dented. They sent me a replacement, installed it, peeled off the protective cover and found more scratches and little dents. I had already lined up an installer, had to put it up. Was extremely difficult and cumbersum to install. They offered to give me $15 for my trouble. What a joke. I will never buy anything through amazon again.
